Guen frequently works to commission and enjoys the collaborative process with the client. Enquiries have included pieces for special occasions such as wedding and partnership celebrations, birthdays and anniversaries or for a variation on a piece of her studio jewellery.

She also often works on older pieces that need to be redesigned and remodelled so that they no longer languish at the back of a sock drawer.

The process involves an initial meeting at her studio or an email conversation. Ideas are exchanged about how the piece is to look which may involve some sketches, and a budget is set. Further discussions will decide the choice of precious metals and gemstones and delivery date. She usually requires six weeks delivery time.

She also offers a pearl and bead restringing service.
